Explores the rise to stardom of The Kinks. Set against the back-drop of a Britain caught mid-swing between the conservative 50s and riotous 60s, this production explores the euphoric highs and agonising lows of one of Britain's most iconic bands and the irresistible music that influenced generations.

User Review: 29Sep16: A college from work said she was just listening to Chris Evans on radio this am and he was talking about who was dragged to a musical that did not want to go to. Well that’s me. I tried unsuccessfully for a week to get someone from work to go to the Kinks Musical in Aylesbury that was on last night but everyone had something on. My husband David had booked tickets for us to go , and I was very reluctant to go as didn’t know there music and thought it would be a long night to sit through. Well….It was BRILLIANT. We were all standing up applauding and dancing...I haven’t had a night like that for years. I LOVED IT!!!!. So if anyone wants the best time…go to the Aylesbury Theatre and see the KINKS. I AM KNOW A FAN!!!! WE WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN !!!!BRILLIANT CAST AND STORY LINE AND MUSIC
