Home of the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Second home to Welsh National Opera. The Midlands' Premier Theatre, offering the best in musicals, ballet, opera, comedy, and pantomime. Re-opened at the end of 2001 after major redevelopment. There is now a studio theatre seating 200 called the Patrick Centre which is part of the Hippodrome on Thorp Street.
