Information for Macbeth - in pitch black at Brentwood Theatre, Brentwood (Play). The Scottish Play - theatrical types consider saying its name to be unlucky! Thrust into power by his overwhelming desires and an over ambitious wife, Macbeth finds his only security is to murder and murder again. From "When shall we three meet again" to "is this a dagger I see before me" this is a powerful Shakespearean drama. THE PLAY WILL BE SET IN DARKNESS making the audience feel every moment as the company delivers a clear and exciting performance. The one act abridged version is perfect for school years 9 to 13 and adult audiences alike.
