Synopsis/Cast/Company

Information for Betsy: Wisdom of a Brighton Whore at General, Brighton (Play). The one-woman play centres around Betsy who, after being expelled from St Mary's Home for Penitent Women for her brazen irreverence, is thrust into an unknown world where she discovers she can still make a living from her body. Soon she becomes confidant and concubine to local dignitary George Bintshaft. But, after subsequently bearing a child, she finds herself in grave danger. Brighton Fringe Festival.
