Jackie Mason archiveHis three brothers are rabbis, his father was a rabbi, his grandfather was a rabbi, and his great-grandfather was a rabbi. At 25, Jackie Mason detected a pattern and became a rabbi; 'somebody in the family had to make a living' he says. This was the start of a brilliant career in comedy which has seen him performing on Broadway seven nights a week, non-stop for fourteen years.
