Synopsis/Cast/Company

Information for It Runs in the Family at The Playhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Derry (Play). Set in the doctor's common room of St Andrews Hospital, this modern farce follows the hilarious plight of neurology specialist, Dr Mortimer. Whilst preparing for the most important lecture of his life, the consequences of youthful adventures in the sluice room with Nurse Tate seem certain to thwart him. The humour created by his ever more complex explanations is made all the more funny by fellow doctors preparing for the Xmas panto and dead patients who refuse to stay still.
