Although a successful writer, JM Barrie is dissatisfied. He returns home to visit his mother who blames him for the long-ago death of his older brother in a skating pond. Haunted by his mother's criticism, James begins to confront the past. Combining flashbacks from Barrie's life with appearances from Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook, the play poses the question "who was the lost boy who wouldn't grow up?
