Synopsis/Cast/Company

Information for La Perichole at Wormsley Estate (previously operated from Garsington Manor), High Wycombe (Opera or Operetta). Set in Lima, Peru, this whimsical tale of love between two street singers and of intrigue in high places is brought to life by a cluster of comic characters who weave their way through a convoluted plot, interlaced with Offenbach's sparkling music. Performances start in the early evening and there is a long dinner interval when audiences can picnic or dine in the marquees, with catering provided by Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts. Audience members may arrive from 16:00
