A Celebration of Sir Kenneth MacMillan. Master Choreographer: Concerto/Las Hermanas/Gloria

Northern Ballet brings dance history to the heart of Yorkshire as we perform a tribute to internationally celebrated choreographer Sir Kenneth MacMillan, to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of his death. The Company's world-class dancers will showcase their exceptional abilities as they perform pieces by one of the art form's most influential and respected choreographers. Las Hermanas is a tense psychological drama about five sisters and the consequences that follow a life of harsh repression, Gloria is inspired by Vera Brittain's wartime memoir Testament of Youth; and Concerto is a dazzling classical piece set to music by Shostakovich. The chance to see such works performed outside of the Capital is a rare one. Experience the unmissable with Northern Ballet.
