HOWARD ASSEMBLY ROOM, LEEDS

Opened January 16th 2009. The Howard Assembly Room is one of Leeds’ most impressive and distinctive Victorian buildings, with a barrel vaulted ceiling, gothic motifs and arched windows. The Howard Assembly Room at Opera North takes its name from Doctor Keith Howard, generous benefactor of the Opera North Transformation project. The Howard Assembly Room forms part of the Opera North Centre in association with the University of Leeds, which incorporates the performance space, rehearsal rooms, and the administration offices for Opera North.
