HU(R)MANO, translated as brother/ human, is a piece by the award-winning Portuguese choreographer Marco da Silva Ferreira, exploring the notion of human urban movement and the shift between the collective and the subjective individual. Using a shared language of movement the four performers explore alternative states of being, transforming and mutating their bodies into abstracted gestures in space, continually pushing and searching for the meaning and value of their physical actions.
