Information for The Murder Before Christmas at Old Red Lion, Inner London (Play). The Murder Before Christmas is the play that goes wrong! A brand new Christmas comedy from the award-winning comedy company Mischief Theatre. The set is almost painted, the actors almost know their lines and all 2,500 copies of the programme have had the typo 'The Murder Before Christ' corrected by hand. It is the opening night of The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society's production of The Murder Before Christmas - a festive whodunit. This ambitious drama society is nervous and excited to be performing for the first time outside of the college grounds at none other than the beloved Old Red Lion Theatre Pub. But tensions run high in this particular drama society as off stage politics become onstage calamity. Can the company keep the production on track until the curtain falls?
