Lucia di Lammermoor
Information for Lucia di Lammermoor at Royal Opera House, West End (Opera or Operetta). After Scott's novel "The Bride of Lammermoor". The Heroine's brother tries to restore his failing fortunes by arranging his sister's marriage to a rich man - but she is in love with a man from another family with which there is a feud going on. Sung in Italian with English surtitles. Strobe lighting (lightning flashes) is used at the start of Act III.
Approximate runtime 195minutes (including any interval).
