Information for Acosta Danza - Debut at Sadler's Wells Theatre, Inner London (Dance or ballet). Founded in 2017 by Carlos Acosta and based in Havana, the company is made up of the best dancers Cuba has to offer who have trained in both ballet and contemporary dance styles. Following an exceptional career as a ballet star, Carlos Acosta launches his new company, Acosta Danza. The company features Cuban dancers who have trained in both ballet and contemporary dance styles. They perform new commissions and existing pieces by Cuban choreographers who have rarely been seen outside the country, and international choreographers taking inspiration from this iconic nation.
