Life is a Dream
After a lifetime of incarceration, a man gains a single day of freedom in this retelling of the 17th century play by Pedro Calder?n de la Barca. Illusion and reality collide as legendary filmmakers the Quay Brothers place the action in a dream-like world. A full-size symphony orchestra adds to the other-worldly atmosphere with the rich, harmonious music of Witold Lutoslawski for this tale of revenge and reconciliation.
