Watt recounts the extraordinary story of an itinerant character who walks one day from a train station to the home of the mysterious Mr. Knott whom he will serve. The bizarre adventures of Watt, and his struggle to make sense of the world around him, are performed with verbal elegance, immense pathos and fierce humour by eminent interpreter of Samuel Beckett's work Barry McGovern. From the opening moment, Beckett's trademark poetry, melancholy and glorious deadpan comedy draw you into his truly distinctive world view.
