Lo-Giudice Dance/Salah El Brogy Company/#PPL Dance Company

The Teeth behind the Kisses - Exploring the interwoven notions of ecstasy, desire and rapture that have pioneered some of history's most prolific characters. Soulless and soulful, the work conjures up a Danse Macabre with living bodies. Inspired by time spent with artist Hector De Gregorio and his study on the theme of ecstasy. Seven performers physically interpret documents on ecstasy, violence and the extreme experiences of life. With elements of divine and terrestrial, quiet and rapturous, extreme love and extreme pain. How are the most intense intermissions in our life interlinked to generate our most supreme states of elation and pain? Following Resolution!, Anthony and the artists will be travelling to Norway, Stockholm, France and the Czech Republic. The Race - A personal observation of humanity's ugly side in which despite possession of emotional intelligence, the rules of the jungle still very much apply. ...A Kid That Grows Up - A gripping tale of an individual's journey to manhood. Inspired by cinematic visuals and driven by their fusion of street and contemporary dance, this company depicts the saga that is 'coming of age'. Feeling the pressures of growing up without a father, the boy finds himself on a journey of self discovery that leads him to unpick some of his deepest frustrations and face his biggest challenge yet. This company brings together their distinctive fusion of street and contemporary dance and their taste for epic visuals. They are inspired by a series of artistic works by French visionary Yoann Lemoine entitled "The Golden Age". Duration: 95mins
