Information for Bandages at Live Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne (Play). Surrounded by newspapers detailing horrific local crimes, two sisters build a fragile and fantastical web of stories in order to keep dangers outside at bay. But when reality finally crashes in, their carefully constructed world can never be the same. Kirsty Housley is an award winning director who has worked for Complicit?, the National Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, RSC, Told By An Idiot and Painsplough. Her debut play as a writer is a taut psychological thriller about what happens when you love someone so much that all you want to do is protect them.
