Synopsis/Company

Since 1994, Hue and Cry have been developing their long-term interest in jazz alongside their commitment to clasic song writing. The band whose new album Hot Wire - the first new album from brothers Pat and Greg Kane since 2008's Open Soul - is released on March 19th, will be performing much of their celebrated back catalogue as well as an introductory selection of songs from the new record. Hot Wire itself combines a love of Steely Dan and the solo work of Becker and Fagan with a sprawling template that includes songs reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone and early New Orleans' inspired funk.
