When Gyles Brandreth set out to find the secret of how to be happy, he ended up in the psychiatrist's chair with Dr Anthony Clare. What the great man taught him about the nature of happiness and exactly who gets to be happy and how, plus other useful lessons picked up along life's way (from Freud, Frankie Howerd, and the Queen among others), provide the essence of a unique one-man show that should make you laugh and could change your life. Gyles Brandreth is a former MP and Government Whip, best known nowadays as a reporter on 'The One Show'?on BBC One and as a regular on BBC Radio 4's?'Just a Minute'. Recently he has appeared on 'QI', 'Countdown', 'The Matt Lucas Awards Show', 'Have I?Got News For You' and 'Desert Island Discs'. Suitable for ages 12+. Runs for approximately one hour.
