Macbeth: Leila and Ben - A Blood History

A Tunisian Macbeth where Shakespeare s malevolent tyrant and his wife are reincarnated as the equally diabolical modern-day duo, Le?la and Zine Ben Ali. Combining Shakespeare s text with film and reportage, this production interrogates the way Arab leaders use, possess and perpetuate power.
