The UK Theatre Web website is operated and owned by Dynamic Listing Ltd. UKTW has been around (formally) since February 14th 1995 providing information about what's on in the performing arts in the UK. The original service developed out of a joint web/gopher site offering "What's on in Oxford and London" which had been running since late 1994. In its early incarnation the website was all hand-crafted but it soon switched to being database driven.

Since the earliest days of on-line ticket offerings, UKTW has carried links to major suppliers where appropriate, being the first to carry multiple links to a show where these were available (this required special contract terms at the time). The UKTF Ticket Price Comparison service, the first of its kind, was launched in January 2007 and was later renamed SeatChoice and relaunched in May 2008. SeatChoice continues to be the only uk-wide ticket price comparison service and offers live price and availability checking plus static deep links direct to suppliers pages.
