A Slice of Saturday Night archiveA look at what it was like to be a teenager in the 60s. The story of romance and sexual awakening under the low lights of the steamy Club-a-go-go. Four girls in one corner, three in another. Will they? Should they? Could they? The year is 1964, but the agonies and delights of youth never change.

Well what can I say about such an amazing performance, the whole cast shone as they bursted out swinging songs from the 60's. Along with the impressive dance moves all the actors had their part in the spot light. Mat Baker who played "Gary" shone on stage, his amazing one liners and hilarious songs made it a killer performance and in my opinion the star of the show. "Rick" played by Adam colborne was also amazing he had a voice that stunned the audience making them laugh and almost cry! All over the performance was light hearted, entertaining and an all round piece that you couldnt stop yourself smilin through out, well done everyone at EBYT uo havedone yourselves proud! LOVED IT

a top notch performance from a good cast of youngsters. Eric "rubber legs" De vene was a joy to behold with his delightful songs such as "eric's gonna keep doing" and gary was play expertly well by matt baker with the "climax" of his performance coming in the song "P.E.". The show as a whole was one of the most enjoy able shows i have seen in a long time and it was refreshing to see something new rather then yet another production of something like Romeo and Juliet which is forever being performed in schools and colleges with this age group.

Wow, this show certainly put a smile on my face! The whole cast brought the Club A Go Go to life before our very eyes. Lewis Philpott, as Eric, became Eastleighs very own Peter Stringfellow! Matt Baker, as Gary made the audience 'belly laugh' with his comic role. Sharon and Rick, played by Felicity Bell and Adam Colbourne, were superb. A very uplifting show 10 out of 10.

'Saturday Night Fight' was breathtaking the hansome John carried the show along with his skilled dancing and accesible representation of 60s life. 'Johns Bird' was also a beaut. That boy will go places. x

User Review: 07Jul06: i was amazed at the wonderful show i saw last night the acting was top class my personal favorite of these being Lewis Philpott who did a stunning job as Eric pulling the type of performance that a profesional would be proud of. Other cast members did there job well and the only let down was the finale song tho with the style that the rest fo the show had i think we can letthem off on this one. Its just a shame that hardly any tickets have been sold.
