Iceland Dance Company (IDC) is the national dance company of Iceland. Established in 1973, IDC is an independent public institution responsible for developing, creating and nurturing contemporary dance and choreography in Iceland. Originally the first-prize winner in the Icelandic Dance/Theatre awards in summer 2004 Open Source is now being developed into a full-length version performed by six talented dancers and actors.
