Pride and Fall combines a magical fairy story and a surreal folk tale. Musicians, actors, a narrator and a dancer tell the tale of a Soldier who thinks he can outwit the Devil, but learns otherwise. And in this new translation of The Poor Sailor, singers and a small orchestra portray a man who has survived 15 years lost at sea and fatally tries to step outside the bounds of reality on his return home.
