Driving Miss Daisy

T743727998
Tale of the unlikely, long-lasting friendship that blossoms between a prickly, elderly Southern matriarch and her kind-hearted chauffeur, Hoke. As the wheels turn and the decades roll by against a backdrop of prejudice, inequality and civil unrest, the pair slowly transcend their differences and ultimately grow to rely on each other far more than either of them ever expected.

Christina (10Apr13): Christina - Wolverhampton Grand Theatre - 9th April 2013 Driving Miss Daisy What a truly wonderful play, for 1.1/2 hours solid three brilliant and very talanted actors had us all completely spell bound. There was no canned laughter here but from the heart laughter and also at times a knowing sadness. But all brought to us by Gwen, Don and Ian on a small stage with very few [ but very effective ] props, it was Brilliant
