Carl Danby and James Oliver Epilogue

This exhibition is the result of an interaction between Carl Danby and his friend, poet James Oliver, the collaboration producing a show reflecting their common concern - abuse of power. Many of James' poems were inspired by Carl's sculpture, whilst others are the result of James' social conscience and concern with worldly affairs. Carl is using paper-like sheets of porcelain to display James' poems and will also have a variety of porcelain pieces on display which demonstrate the medium's versatility.
