From the stacks, storerooms and humidity controlled basements the hidden treasures of the library start to sing to a moving monochrome frieze of numbers and images. 2 and Counting radically transforms the giant dome of Manchester's Central Library into a large scale audio visual installation using digital processes to translate the environment and its artefacts into a sonic and visual score with live performance. 2 and Counting is a duration performance installation running on an hourly cycle.
