A Satirical Look at the English

T1241098769
Renowned writer, broadcaster and editor of Private Eye, Ian Hislop graces the stage with his chum Richard Ingrams, also a distinguished journalist and broadcaster (and founder of Private Eye) for an evening of stories and humorous extracts examining the idiosyncrasies of the English. This is an informal evening in which Ian and Richard pick their favourite passages from literature, interspersed with anecdotes and popular classical music by Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninov and others, provided by pianist Raymond Banning. In the second half, Ian and Richard will answer your questions about their careers. A unique show, not to be missed.
