By using the music of Miles Davis as a reference point the quartet will explore the rich melting pot of styles and influences that came together to help create the sound of jazz in 1950s and beyond. This sound helped shape and mold creative music and continues to do so to this day. By playing some familiar tunes with arrangements inspired by Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Lee Morgan and Terrence Blanchard they produce a tasteful blend of soul, funk and bebop. The range of material moves from the 1950s up to the present day.
