The Egyptian Jazz Projekt will feature vocalist Ahmed Harfoush and the Harfoush Jazz Band's revival of hit songs from 1950's and 60's Egypt in a new swing and Latin jazz sound, including songs made famous by Abdel Halim Hafez, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Fareed Al Atrash, Saad Abdel Wahab and Shadia. The Egyptian Jazz Projekt ties timeless classics by Egypt's most popular performers with hits by Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Jerome Kern. The project has been heard in Paris, Berlin, Cairo, Vienna, Melbourne and recently at Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room, the London Jazz Festival and Dubai Opera.
