The Carnival of the Bizarre - T1082793985

The Circus of Horrors has performed at the festival previously and has an almighty following in Sussex, it therefore seemed appropriate that the show returned to the Festival , in this its 15th anniversary year. Previously the show has performed in a traditional Circus tent but this year it will be housed in a beautiful Sabai Pavilion. The opulent surrounding of the Sabai Pavilion basically means that wherever you are sat inside the venue you are sure to be close to the action, there will literally be freaks & Fantastic Circus acts flying all around you. The freaky element of the show consists of the Royal family of Freaks. Led by Circus of Horrors undead Ringmaster Doktor Haze with Captain Dan, the demon dwarf, The Sword Swallowing of Hannibal Helmurto & the return of the legendary Garry Stretch. The Circus element comes from the flying & revolving Reverend, The Bizarre Divas- The Slice Girls, led by Anastasia IV and her astonishing hair hang act, joined by a girl who emerges from a bottle, blade walking & the limbo dancing Voodoo acrobats.

The Asylum - T105008267

Set in an archaic institution on the edge of Paris, a side show owner, Dr Haze, buys the mad house to present his new show Blood Thirsty & Burlesque but while Paris sleeps the inmates run riot. Beware - the lunatics have taken over the Asylum. It is a staggering 13 years since the Circus of Horrors first trampled the bloody boards and has achieved cult status and generally dragged circus screaming and shouting into the 21st century. Now, the whole evil ensemble is back with a brand new show. The Asylum threatens to stimulate all the senses with new shocks. The show still contains the crowd favourites but they are now entrapped in a Macabre Mad House until they escape and run amok into the Parisian night life. Warning: The Circus of Horrors is not suitable for children and they will only be allowed in if accompanied by an adult who understands what is in the show. The show contains some nudity and bad language, but not of a sexual nature.

They are a must see cult hit at every Glastonbury and Edinburgh Festival, Graham Norton adores them and Jerry Springer was aghast. Bizarre, fiendishly naughty, freaky and totally weird with a great rock band live on stage besides.

T0397466814 (TOUR02)

This time, the show commences in 1900. It was the last few years of Queen Victoria's reign, Jack the Ripper was at large and this was the age of the freak show. So, walk along the midway and step straight into the twisted world of the Circus of Horrors. Once inside, you'll come face to face with oddities, fakiers and sensational circus acts bringing you an amazing amalgamation of trapeze artists, sword swallowers, snake charmers, siamese twins and vampires, all presided over by the undead ringmaster Dr Haze. However, things start to go horribly wrong when a young girl dares to run away and join the circus only to be sucked into a world of lechery and depravity and eventually is sacrificed in a graveyard surrounded by flying skeletons. However, Vampires never die and our young heroine is reborn 120 years later. Now the pennyfarthings have been replaced by huge motorbikes, the swords have been replaced by chainsaws and the boardwalk is now sin city and home to the legions of the undead and mutants. This post apocalyptic metropolis is controlled by the self styled master Dr Haze and our heroine is hell bent on revenge on the man who turned her into a creature of the night over a century earlier. But just as sweet revenge is about to be executed, Dr Haze escapes the jaws of the giant buzz saw and turns sin city into a flaming inferno.

T1362955076 (TOUR01)
