An Audience with Freddie Davies
T0
Freddie 'Parrot-face' Davies was a comedy icon in the 1960's and 70's. The bowler-hatted, lisping (well, more like raspberry-blowing) character he created was a popular TV fixture for nearly two decades. But Freddie's talents didn't stop (or indeed start) there. His amazing career has taken him from the tough working men's clubs of the North East of England to the Royal Shakespeare Company. Seasons at the famous London Palladium with Cliff Richard, television shows with the legendary Judy Garland, touring the world with his stand up comedy act and counting among his many fans the late film idol Cary Grant. In a career spanning over 50 years in show business he has seen it all! Now you can enjoy his comedy insights and anecdotes in a very special one-off Audience with Freddie Davies. The show will be hosted by one of the modern crop of stand-up comedians and Broadway regular, Special P.
