Lessons I Should Have Learned - T031180801

After a string of poisonous relationships, you would have thought Ava Vidal (Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The News Quiz) would know better by now. Remember, Remember The 4th of November - T01486768098

On 4th November 2008 Barack Hussein Obama made history by becoming the first black man to be voted in as President of The United States of America. Ava Vidal watched the election as one of the commentators in the ITN news studio. Unfortunately her day had not started as well and that morning she made her debut appearance... in her local magistrates court. In her latest show she wonders whether she is a victim of a cruel, unequal society in which the odds have always been stacked against her or is she just a dickhead? With a background that includes having been a teenage single mum, a prison officer, and a boarding-school rebel, she brings a distinctive point of view to her comedy. Remember, Remember 4th of November is a shocking and sometimes disturbing but always hilarious story in which she wonders 'Could Obama's victory inspire her to better things?' She certainly has the audacity to hope so.
