Boothby Graffoe and Andrew O'Neill's shared tendency for surreal stand-up comedy. As a self-proclaimed occult comedian, Andrew describes himself as a vegan-transvestite-anarchist. He began performing at school and has since included the absurd and silly into his performances, which have led him to BBC Radio 1, Radio 4 and 5Live as well as TV appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Saxondale with Steve Coogan. Andrew can regularly be seen on the comedy stages at Download, Sonisphere, Bloodstock, Leeds and Reading festivals. He has also supported Amanda Palmer, hosted the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards and played at Torture Garden and the Bizarre Magazine Ball. Joining Andrew on stage is Adelaide Fringe Award and Time Out winner Boothby Graffoe who is known for both his darkly surreal sense of humour and his songs which have led him to work alongside acts such as Canadian band Barenaked Ladies who he has supported on three tours. Boothby has written extensively for Omid Djalili, contributing to his live stand-up and also providing sketches for two series of the Omid Djalili Show on BBC1, having written the popular ?speed-relationship' sketch. He has also performed improv with Paul Merton, Eddie Izzard and Mike McShane and is often on BBC Radio 4 with Stephen K Amos. Boothby has released four albums to-date and is working on his fifth. He often gives his songs titles which have no relevance to their content such as Wot Italian and The Consequences of Living in a Container. The two comedians with a shared affinity for the unusual will be performing in one evening of surreal, eccentric humour.
