Because You Demanded It - T01034635920

The people of the UK have voted to leave the EU, even though no-one had a plan for what would happen if it did. If you didn't want to leave the EU, or you did, but now don't, because you haven't got any of the things you were promised, then this is absolutely the show for you. If you did want to leave the EU, and still do, then you will still find it funny, but for different reasons, as you witness the liberal female comedian's exasperated and despairing meltdown.

An Ungrateful Woman - T02036561038

Why did people praise Michael Gove on 25 February 2014? What made Bridget lose control of her emotions at a casting for a yoghurt commercial? And which national newspaper genuinely mistook Bridget (from R4's Bridget Christie Minds the Gap, Dilemma, Heresy, News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth, BBC's HIGNFY, It's Kevin and C4's Cardinal Burns) for King Charles II? 'One of the finest comedians around' (Independent). 'A superb stand-up with a powerful voice and something to say... a revelation' ***** (Observer). 'A beautiful balance between the personal, the public and the parodic' **** (Times).

Radi 4 Series - Read Through/Try-Outs - T080645651

Last year, comedian Bridget Christie noticed that misogyny, like shiny leggings, had made an unexpected comeback. But did it ever really go away? Bridget Christie Minds the Gap is a new four-part Radio 4 stand-up comedy series on the state of British feminism today. An incident involving a man, a smell and a well-known bookstore made her ask what place feminism has in modern Britain, whether the fight has been won or is being fought on different fronts. Plus, why did Bic launch the "Bic for Her" - a pen specifically designed for a woman's hand? FEMINISTS AND MISOGYNISTS ALIKE - COME AND HELP ME WRITE IT!

War Donkey - Little Wander Ltd - T1104135677

What are Tory feminists? How did Hitler choose soups in restaurants? Why isn't there a Spielberg blockbuster about donkeys, and why did Colonel Gadaffi hate them? Bridget Christie knows. And will wear stilts. Baffling stand-up and grotesque manifestations from someone who's been on Radio 4's News Quiz, E4's Cardinal Burns, Sarah Millican's Support Group and Harry Hill's Little Internet Show.
