More character comedy comes from Barbara Nice, just your average loopy Stockport housewife, played by Janice Connolly (Sister Mary in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights). The host for the evening is Cuban-Jamaican Brummie John Simmit, best known for playing Dipsy in BBC TV's phenomenon Teletubbies. Annette Fagon is the daughter of a Jamaican female newsagent, most recently seen hobnobbing with the Churchill insurance dog in an ad campaign.
