Is Edward Aczel Infinite? - T01323696475

Is Edward Aczel Infinite? Have you ever thought: who am I? Is it all just a dream? Is time constant or variable? Is it only possible to imagine the infinite? No, me neither. Anyway, we live in uncertain times and Ed's house is built on shifting sand. So it calls for some navel-gazing. It'll probably be fine ? it might even work? there'll definitely be jokes. And more stars than you can shake a stick at (ideally).

Foreign Policy - T1321879853

In his third nationwide tour "Britain's greatest living anti-comedian" (Guardian) wades headlong in to the thorny issue of Foreign Policy. Ever thought that maybe your relationship with your next-door neighbour is in fact foreign policy? No? Well that's lesson number one from the dead pan critics favourite Ed Aczel. If we all practised good manners, what a lovely world we would live in. Join Ed to see how this relates to the current global maelstrom, whatever that is. The show is a proper chance for the anti-comedian to un through the major foreign policy conundrums of our age, in a strictly, linear and geographical way. He'll also seek out a bit of personal foreign policy which everyone can relate to. When will China get a Blue Water Navy? And who cares? Can Russia ever get a warm water port and why Ukraine? What about North Korea then? And what can I really do for Britain if it can't do anything for me?

The Random Flapping of a Butterfly's Wings - T249075376

Ed Aczel ("Britain's greatest living anti-comedian" - Guardian) returns to the road for his 2nd nationwide stand-up tour as he tries once again to nail down the nature of existence. Aczel is known for not following the rules of stand-up comedy and he aims to use his show, with help of the Chaos Theory, to change the world once and for all - although it may turn out to be too complicated. He asks whether you can have your cake and eat it - i.e. seek to change human consciousness forever and keep your weekends free. Ed includes a couple of amusingly circular stories about his life, which thankfully don't last long. Bringing Maths, History and Improv to life for beginners, he explores his own inner psyche with a section analysing his dreams - and then tries not to get too paranoid.
