Music and comedy from Scotland's top funny lady who for over 30 years has worked extensively in radio television and theatre. Her performances are far too numerous to mention but she is perhaps best known for her iconic portrayal of Mary Nesbitt in the hit sitcom Rab C Nesbitt, and more recently as the mental Christine in BBC?s award winning Two Doors Down plus her own STV travelog comedy show Burdz Eye View. A sparkling night of intelligent stand-up, storytelling and music in support of the theatre's building redevelopment campaign. As an added extra the night will feature extracts from her recently critically acclaimed Torch Song Divas, a magical collaboration with classical singer Christina Dunwoodie. Together, they take a witty and irreverent look at the eternal themes of love, betrayal and revenge.
