Gwaith Mewn Llaw - T1061095460

A new comedy show for Aberystwyth Arts Centre. This is the long anticipated first ever stand-up comedy show in Welsh by one of Britain's most successful comedians, Elis James. Despite Welsh being his first language, Elis has been performing stand up in English for over a decade and was nominated as Best Club Comic at the Chortle Awards in 2014. He has appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Dave's One Night Stand (Dave), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC3) and starred in Crims (BBC3). Later this year he will be appearing alongside Jack Dee and Josh Widdecombe in BBC 3's new sitcom, Josh. This is the first time he has written an hour long show in Welsh. What is "Gwaith Mewn Llaw"? It's a unique opportunity to see one of Britain's finest comedians testing a show in front of a live audience, and in Welsh.
