Joanna Neary is an accomplished performer with considerable experience in television comedy. She has starred in That Mitchell and Webb Look (BBC Two) as ‘Jo Neary’ and appears as ‘Judith’ in Ideal (BBC Three) with Johnny Vegas. She recently filmed Gamarjobat, a pilot for Babycow, and the third series of Skins (Channel 4/E4). Further credits include Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show (ITV2), Angelo’s (Five) Comedy Cuts II and III and No Heroics (ITV2). Joanna has been writing and performing character comedy for several years, starting in Brighton at venues such as The Komedia. She took her debut solo show Joanna Neary is Not Feeling Herself to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2004, where she received rave reviews, a Perrier Best Newcomer nomination and won Fringe Report’s Award for Best Actor - Theatrical Comedy. During her subsequent UK tour Joanna also won the 2005 Brighton Festival Best Actress award. She has returned to the Fringe each year, and 2008 saw her premiering her latest solo show, Joanna Neary’s Magic Hole. Fergus Craig is an experienced actor and comedian who recently appeared in Channel 4’s Star Stories. He has also appeared in Extras (BBC Two), Hey Hey We’re The Monks (BBC Two), Angelos (Five), Roman’s Empire (BBC Two), After You’ve Gone (BBC One), Raging (BBC Three), Jonathan Creek (BBC One) and Pulling (BBC Three). Fergus’s radio acting credits include Hut 33 for BBC Radio 4 and he provides voiceovers for Mist: Sheepdog Tales (Five). Fergus performs with Colin Hoult in the acclaimed double act COLIN AND FERGUS. They have written and performed a special for BBC Radio 2, Theatre Group with Peter and Sarah, and have performed in two series of their own show: Colin and Fergus’s Digi Radio for BBC7. They also appeared in all six episodes of Comedy Shuffle series 2 and Edinburgh and Beyond for Paramount. This year they return as series regulars to BBC Radio 2 show Out To Lunch. They have written and performed in three sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, where they won the Writers’ Guild Award for Comedy with their debut show in 2004.
