Helen Keen is a Yorkshire-born comedian and writer. Her solo shows mix stand-up with science, storytelling and inventively homemade props, spinning comedy out of such arcane and unlikely subjects as the development of the space rocket. Woman of The Future! is a work in progress show about the enduring power of science fiction to give us visions of a newer, better, fairer world - and day dreaming while working in an office... Creator and star of BBC Radio 4's hit comedy *It Is Rocket Science*, award-winning comedian Helen Keen returns to Brighton with her esoteric mix of stand-up comedy, science fiction & shadow puppetry in a show that will transport you into the exciting, inventive and tinfoil-y world of The Future (by at least an hour!).
