Ivan Brackenbury is the comic creation of stand-up and former telly personality Tom Binns (C4's Ri:se and Under the Moon) with writing back-up from gagsmith Gary Delaney (BBC New Comedy Awards Finalist 2002). Brackenbury, a tragic Hospital Radio DJ in the mould of Alan Partridge, has become a huge hit with listeners on BRMB Radio in Birmingham and across the midlands and is now embarking on an all-conquering quest of the UK. The show was nominated for the If.Comedy Award 2007 and won one of the prestigious Spirit of the Fringe Awards 2007. The Times thought it was the funniest show at the Fringe…. and as a result he's now planning his own Radio 2 Show alongside regular spots on BBC GLR and BBC London, slots on the Chris Evans Show and XFM, guest spots on Steve Wright In The Afternoon and presenting the links for C4's T-Music.
