Details

John Hegley is one of the country's most innovative comic poets and likes dogs a lot. He has several best-selling volumes of poetry to his name and is a regular sell-out at the Edinburgh Festival. From the Amoeba Song which he began in the upper sixth to his latest opus celebrating Luton Town's five nil drubbing in the city; "With Luton in receivership, I think it could be said that that night, there were two sides in the red", and other songs about emotional scallywagging and potatoes.
