Cult YouTube superstars Kunt and the Gang bring their juvenile, smutty, yet oddly earnest comedy songs to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the first time. With no topic too taboo, Kunt and the Gang wheel out toe-curlingly cringeworthy but irritatingly catchy pop ditties, touching on subjects such as the life lessons we can learn from serial killers (‘Fred and Rose’), men’s hygiene (‘Gentleman’s wash’), and love and loss (‘Wanking over a pornographic Polaroid of an ex-girlfriend who died’). Among other songs on the menu is their music business critique (‘Use my arsehole as a cunt’) and ‘Fucksticks’, which was featured on Channel 4 / e4’s shoddy low budget internet clip show Rudetube. Kunt and the Gang are a Marmite act, you’ll love them or hate them! www.myspace.com/kuntandthegang www.youtube.com/kuntandthegang www.kuntandthegang.co.uk "Life-affirmingly puerile stuff, set to one of the most infectious and upbeat melodies imaginable."
