Evans has been awarded the Time Out Award for comedy and also a highly coveted Perrier Award. His energetic and sweaty style, accompanied on stage by little more than a mike stand and a towel, has become a trademark - full of slapstick, silly voices and energy. The 2011 'Roadrunner' Tour follows on from Lee Evans' Autumn 2008 'Big' Tour which was immotalised on DVD and went on to become the best selling comedy DVD in Britain at Christmas 2008.
