One of Britain's finest comedians and broadcasters, Marcus's talent was noted early on in his career in 1996 when he won the BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival. He is now regarded as a major comedy, writing and acting talent, performing stand up nationally to sell out audiences around the UK and globally at international comedy festivals. Top comedy guests will be forced to answer for every failing in society, from every political scandal to why so many kids are fat and can't spell properly. Marcus' guests won't know who they're being or what mistakes they'll be asked to defend until their Paxman-esque host makes it clear... Just like real guests on Newsnight and Question Time - they will have to improvise / bullshit their way out of trouble and they wont be released until they do. Our restaurant will be serving brunch specials from 11am - including delicious Eggs Benedict and our Menier bacon sandwich special, with the comedy kicking off in the theatre at 12.30pm.
