Too Much Information - T0691130783

Overwhelmed by life? Constantly distracted? Can’t finish a....oooh what’s that? In this fast-moving world of distractions and diversions, how can we stay focused on what’s important? Were things simpler in the past or were people just stupider? Does studying Home Economics for a term at the age of 13 give Matt enough knowledge to understand the global financial crisis? And if not, should that stop him from commenting on it anyway? Why are we obsessed with gossip? And have you seen what she’s wearing? This show has all the answers. As long as you ask very specific questions. Featuring lots of jokes, a smidgen of politics and absolutely no pictures of kittens!

Truth and Pleasure - T0531089268

A high energy mix of jokes, stories, chat and fun, it's an hour of stand up comedy that is guaranteed to leave you with a massive grin on your face. A wise man once told Matt that the secret of great comedy was "truth and pleasure", so Matt is telling lots of hilarious true stories and is sure you'll enjoy them – in fact the audience will help to decide which stories he tells and what order they’ll be in, so each show will be different. His preview show at the Brighton Fringe was a sell-out, five star success, so come and see what all the fuss is about.Producer RMB.

Grow Up Green - T586925886

In this first solo show, Matt considers growing up, feeling young and trying to do both at once. Despite being almost 30, Matt still looks about twelve and wonders if we all get treated like children or is that just him? Are kids these days too grown up or are we all just grown up kids? Some people argue that we’re living in an infantilised culture: from ridiculous adverts and warnings to patronising religious and political leaders. And every weekend the streets are filled with childish behaviour fuelled by the ultimate infantilising tool: booze! With all this in mind, Matt tells a whole load of jokes and stories about childhood, childishness and growing up. These range from tales of family games that spin out of control, being bullied on Facebook and being baffled by film warnings, to accounts of weird hospital visits and embarrassing revelations. It’s an hour of fun that’ll make you laugh, think and cry. But mainly laugh. And probably not cry. Much.Producer RBM.
