Mike Harding is a man of many talents. Beginning his career in the 1960s, Mike has been a folk singer, comedian, broadcaster, writer and poet. He brings his poetry tour to St Helens in May 2015. Mike has four published anthologies to his name and will be sharing some of his favourite poems here at The Citadel. After 15 years concentrating on writing and broadcasting, fell walking and fly-fishing, Mike's back on the road for the first time in 15 years. A small-scale tour earlier this year went down so well he decided to return to his roots with a vengeance. With a couple of guitars and more than forty years of material to draw on Mike will lead you into his own comic world with stories and songs that have had audiences collapsing with laughter from South Shields to Sidney, Huddersfield to Hong Kong.
