Star of BBC's One's ‘Live At The Apollo’ , the internationally acclaimed Canadian comedian and Time Out Comedy Award winner, Mike Wilmot hits the road for a UK tour. Already an established massive star comedian in his home country Canada, Mike Wilmot started working in the UK as a stand-up comedian in 1995. For over a decade Mike has built up a reputation as one of the unsung heroes of the UK comedy scene achieving rave reviews throughout the country for his unique stand-up. In 2003 he won the coveted Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was invited to appear at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Mike co-starred in Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive (BBC4) and award winning film It’s all gone Pete Tong plus numerous appearances on Nevermind The Buzzcocks (BBC2).
